Religion Versus The Feminine Sexual Renaissance
The sexually-free feminine is viewed as a threat to the quiet lives of missionary sex, weekly Bible study, nightly prayer, repressed sexual desire, and anti-abortion volunteering that many women live.
I am experiencing my own renaissance of sorts when it comes to the primal act of sex. I spent many years ridding myself of unnecessary guilt and shame pertaining to pleasure, sex, masturbation, and the concept of sin and how some man in the sky is always watching me even when I am horny. Seriously, I used to feel so bad for my body’s natural sensations notifying me that it wants to cum. I would masturbate under the covers and in the bathroom, trying my hardest to get some damn privacy from the Peeping Tom in the sky called Jesus!
After I got a little older I decided that I will give this Jesus a show each and every time. Especially once I came across prominent male figures of the occult who worshipped life through orgies, drug-induced astral travel, alcoholism, and viewed hedonism as their right.
If men are living their best pleasurable lives with no guilt or shame, even within the confines of Christianity (we all know that growing Christian men aren’t as pressured to remain pure and untainted for marriage like women are), why can’t I?
