Sanni’s Shorts: Choose To Become A Diamond!
There is so much to do. There is so much to learn. And there is so much to become!
I decided to relax for a few moments before exercising, so I watched an old YouTube video that I’ve never seen before from one of my favorite content creators. But what was supposed to be a relaxing few moments turned into me pausing the video to journal and do some serious reflection on his words.
He stated that suffering and pain, or pressure, comes with the process of becoming a diamond. And while it is excruciating to undergo that process, it is always better to be receptive to the transformation than to wave a white flag of surrender and turn around from the journey of becoming.
Although I feel a deep satisfaction for where I am in life and where I am going, I couldn’t help but resonate with this man’s wisdom. I am a diamond in my own right, as I have fought lions, tigers, and bears to be here, but I am still just getting started.
