Seriously, What The Fuck Do Feminists Want?
I cannot dismantle a system billions of women insist on sustaining through birthing more boys and marrying more men, so I will simply shut the fuck up and make the best of it.
I have written extensively about the roles motherhood and wifehood play as barriers to women freeing themselves to the point where they do not give a damn whether the patriarchy exists or not. Why? Because both of these “hoods” permanently attach women to men in ways that keep the patriarchy alive and thriving.
Women are especially vulnerable and reliant on men, their so-called oppressors, through motherhood and wifehood, and men understand that they have all the leverage in the world to make women their step stools by encouraging us to abandon our autonomy and freedom and breed, breed, breed. Within the confines of marriage, of course.
Nearly of the feminist issues that are supposedly the result of oppression stem from women wanting to date men, marry men, and procreate with men. Maternity leave? Check. Unequal pay? Check. Sexual market value and impossible beauty standards? Check. Women not being seen as serious about their careers or their advancement because it is assumed they will eventually drop out of the workforce and start a family? Check!
