So…Who’s Ready To Throw Their Scale Away?!
Health is not about reducing yourself to three measly numbers on a scale that most likely was never accurate to begin with.
I look at it this way: no matter if you are trying to gain weight or lose it, if you are doing the right things to support your goals it doesn’t matter what you weigh. Seriously! A simple body check in the mirror can suffice. Or, you can completely abandon the aesthetics altogether and focus on the improvements you cannot see but feel.
Are you getting stronger? You’re doing amazing.
Are you eating enough food and not going hungry? You’re doing amazing.
Are you giving yourself ample rest days and time to relax and unwind to repair those sore, tired muscles? You’re doing amazing.
Are you incorporating movement into your lifestyle to the point where it no longer feels like a chore? You’re doing amazing.
Are you able to skip or miss workouts without feeling guilty and hop back on track when you are ready to? You’re doing amazing.
Do you have more energy? You’re doing amazing.
Are you allowing yourself to enjoy fun meals and treats by yourself or with friends and family without guilt? You’re doing amazing.
