Ladies and gentlemen, the cognitive dissonance is real. Very real.

I fully understand why people continue to lie to themselves, although those lies are temporary band aids that do not effectively heal what is considered a monster fuck of a problem. People lie to themselves and intentionally block out any logical reasoning that may actually help them with the issue at hand because they are so damn scared to face the fact that their issue was manifested from their decision-making.

Nobody likes the spotlight to be put on them. Nobody likes to hear, “I told you so.” And so they continue to suffer and run around in sad little circles with no solution in sight.

A woman took to Facebook to complain about her husband’s bathroom habits, which are preventing him from helping her with the children. The sad part of it all is that she cannot see how his toilet time is his cop-out for not wanting to help out!
