Story Time: He Lied About Being A Parent To Sleep With Me
“So you conveniently tell me this after we had sex, huh? You made sure you got what you wanted and then break the news to me? You didn’t even give me a chance; you just assumed that I wouldn’t like you based on you being a father.”
We met at a small lounge in Brooklyn. It was a Thursday night.
My cousin and I were the life of the party, as we were the only ladies dancing in a room mostly filled with men holding plastic cups of liquor and staring at our moving bodies, probably wishing they had the courage to approach one of us to dance.
I was wining my waist while nursing my drink by our table when a very tall man walked up to me and matched my rhythm. I looked up at his face. He stared into my eyes while he held my hips. He had a dominant presence about him, which I liked.
We ended up dancing together the entire night and got to know each other while we moved in sync to upbeat music.
“Do you have any kids?” I asked.
“Nah. Do you?”
“Nope.”
We exchanged numbers and parted ways early Friday morning when the party was over.
Later in the day he called me and asked me out on a date for the following evening. I said yes, but I wasn’t really interested…
