Story Time: I Met A Sugar Daddy Who Documented Women In A Black Book
It was a chilly Saturday afternoon in downtown Brooklyn.
I was sitting in Starbucks and waiting for Todd to arrive. We met online on a dating site that caters to sugar daddy/sugar baby relationships. I was curious and I thought I would give it a shot. Because why not?
Todd sent me a message explaining that he was nearby and he would arrive in five minutes. As I sat in the busy coffee shop I looked outside from the large picture windows. Beautiful leaves in red, green, and gold tossed and swayed about on the sidewalk. Couples donning parkas and knitted hats held gloved hands. I observed small children playing tag with the autumn leaves. And I began to reminisce on how I got here in the first place.
A few weeks ago I set up an online profile on a website that many ladies were claiming they found their sugar daddy on. I was feeling adventurous and so I took the plunge. From that night on private messages slowly started to trickle into my inbox. But I didn’t respond to any of them. Nobody really caught my attention. I received the usual “Hello” and “Hey” from many middle-aged men but I was feeling particularly picky, especially because sugar daddies expect some sugar from the women they spoil.
