The Absurdity Of Calling Broke-Ass Men “Daddy”
For me to call a man daddy who doesn’t care to provide, protect, love, nurture, or solve problems like a daddy is asinine.
In my opinion, one of the most hypocritical, ass-backwards demands that have escaped the ashy lips belonging to men involve women calling barely-raised males around their age daddy for the sake of boosting their masculine egos without this recipient of the precious D word ever having to prove why he should be called daddy in the first place.
Even in my past relationships I have been encouraged by my boyfriends to call them this, or they have initiated the desire to be my daddy without my input during sex. Does “Cum for daddy!” ring a bell, ladies?
Unfortunately for them, not only was my body refusing to orgasm during sex because their relentlessness in receiving this unearned title made me more disgusted rather than turned-on, but there was one small problem with their demands:
I already have a daddy! The fuck?! That role has been filled for many decades, sir!
Giving myself the grace and permission to be intentionally single and celibate for many years in order to dissect my socially-conditioned addiction to romance made me realize that far too many people are using the guise of love to make up for a mother or father figure in their lives…
