The Circus Tent & Shit Show Known As Femininity: Are You A Woman Or A Soldier In A Skirt?
Being provided for yet functioning as a well-dressed prisoner in your own home is not femininity. This is merely survival, glamorously disguised in modest attire and rehearsed gracefulness.
While obedient women do not look like soldiers ready for battle, as these ladies appear to be dainty, soft, and sweet, they actually aren’t free to fulfill all of their dreams and potential without repercussions. They function as pretty birds locked away in beautiful gilded cages paid for by a man, and they call this shit hypergamy, divestment, traditional wifehood, the soft life, and other cutesy terms.
No matter how kept these ladies appear to be some of them are fighting a silent war they will never speak of, whether with their husbands, their social lives filled with other lost, soulless women, or with themselves.
I am amazed that we have created a whole new gospel of womanhood where ladies are being taught that femininity is solely based on protecting themselves from men by doing their best not to upset them.
