The Harsh Truth About Unsupportive Husbands

At some point our loved ones did support us until we gave them reasons to take back that support and place it more in our comfort zone than in our dreams.

As women we are stereotyped as being wishy-washy and flighty since most of us live out our entire lives never leaning in to the pressures of creation and finishing anything we started unless we receive clear instructions, objectives and goals from someone outside of ourselves. This is why it is theorized that women do so well in school and the workplace. Apparently we need to be led by someone to go somewhere that we don’t trust ourselves to go on our own.

As for education, you do as you are told and you are rewarded with good grades and a degree. Next, you move on to traditional employment where you are paid for following the rules. Or, you can be promoted for being exceptional at following the rules.

What some women want to do is jump from business to business or project to project and ignore the growing track record of unreliability they are singlehandedly creating, all while expecting their partners and loved ones to spread the word about their new business plus invest in this business that will probably not be around in the next few months.
