Money is more of an incentive than a destination for me, as I feel like an apprentice of life than anything. No professor or teacher paid me a dime to sit in their classrooms to learn from them and I never complained about it. And so I have trained my emotions and mental faculties to move away from the financial entitlement many content creators have when it comes to earnings.
Instead of chasing money and allowing the almighty dollar to harvest my emotions to determine if and when I channel my creative energy into a library of work for my readers to enjoy, I chase the process. I show up, regardless of what the money looks like. This is because the process is more rewarding and precious than the results. In fact, the process begets results!
You can’t cheat the process of becoming. You can’t pout and moan and wish it away just because it’s not always fun to put your head down and produce regardless of what your bank account looks like!
