The Number One Rule For Dating A Parent If You Don’t Have Kids!

The number one rule for dating a parent if you are childless can be summed up in one word:
Don’t.
Just kidding. But not really.
If you don’t believe that love is worth becoming a makeshift stepparent, you may want to read the first sentence of this article over again and commit it to memory. I say this because you may be stewing in resentment while you date a parent because your life is being shared with children as part of the deal of dating this mom or dad, and there is a well of anger that can be reserved for you if things don’t work out.
Take it from me: dating a parent is very different than sharing your time, your body, and your space with a childless or childfree individual. Again, if you are anything like me and you know for a fact that you don’t like to share or be inconvenienced with the problems of others, especially if they involve kids, I will implore you to read that first sentence once again!
Your plans with your beau will be changed and adjusted more than once. Any time you want to spend with your special man or woman means you must be mindful of their children and schedules of said children. If the kids have after-school…
