Powerful men in almost every movie I’ve seen since I was a kid
One of my favorite ways to pass time when I’m bored is watch The Simpsons, particularly to analyze the relationship between Homer and Marge.
Truthfully, I don’t have much sympathy for Marge. As much as childish, unpredictable Homer annoys the life out of her and drains her constantly, I find myself highly irritated by Marge’s raspy smoker’s voice and her constant highbrow morals that she feels the need to always school everyone on when in fact, nobody cares. Everything and everyone is wrong in her eyes. She is the sole member of the nagging Moral Police who always feels the need to spoil the fun. And her role in the show really shows me the stark difference between men and women when it comes to the principles of right and wrong.
I could care less what people think about my stance regarding men and relationships. The fact of the matter is that I have quite enjoyable relationships with my gender counterpart even though I choose not to be in any romantic relationships with them. I objectively observe men without trying to judge if what they’re doing is the “right thing.” And most importantly I have the maturity to simply shut the fuck up when they speak. Because even if I don’t like what I am hearing, I know that I can pick up a few gems that will ultimately benefit me later on. If you listen attentively and learn to read…
