The Problem I Have With Sex
“What if women were safe enough to be granted the freedom to be limitless, and explore the depths of themselves through the pleasure of wild, uninhibited sex without fear of being used and harmed in the process?”
I really wish sex was looked at as the slow, sacred dance of lovers instead of a cheap and easy treat women are obligated to give men without a second thought simply for buying a drink or being kind.
The truth is that men know to expect sex at some point. It bothers me that they easily benefit from something that provides women with a lot of risk. The opposite sex has reduced intercourse to a sport they will win no matter what. And I must subject my precious body to such abuse because I am heterosexual?
Furthermore, sex is viewed as something men take or steal. Sex unfairly benefits men. It isn’t really shared between two people. It isn’t a loving experience that both men and women experience together, for the most part. That’s what Hollywood wants us to believe. That’s the lie men have gotten away with to drain their dicks as cheaply as possible, with as little emotional and financial investment on their part.
