The Sadistic Scam Of Conditioning Women To Be Loyal To Disloyal Men
“Are you my ride or die?” he asked me one afternoon.
“Absolutely not,” I responded quickly.
As a black man who was raised by our culture’s narratives which insist that women bend, twist, and stretch themselves thin for men in exchange for cheap, meaningless trinkets and free lies, I was disgusted but not surprised that he boldly asked me if I was going to pledge my allegiance to him so early during the talking stage.
Growing up, as black kids we bobbed our heads to songs such as Hold You Down by Alchemist, ’03 Bonnie & Clyde by Jay Z, and Ryde or Die Bitch by The Lox. Music is very effective in conditioning the mind, and while us school-aged girls thought we were innocently jamming to the hottest songs at the time, through catchy beats to struggle love lyrics we were actually being groomed to be work mules for the masculine.

It’s sickening that women all over the globe are being set up to be loyal to a fault, for some of them risk imprisonment or even death just to prove their devotion to some man who only sees them as a means to an end.
