Men are banking on single women aspiring to a lifestyle they know they cannot afford to provide.

I understand that men who feel emasculated because simply being born male isn’t cutting it anymore and women who are sick and tired of waking up at 6 AM to head to the office want to blame the feminist movement for the creation of the independent woman whose favorite saying apparently is, “I don’t need no man!” But…is this woman who works just as hard as her male counterpart to pay the bills and put food in the fridge truly a byproduct of feminism and its fight towards equality, or simply an inevitable manifestation of a more expensive and sophisticated society?

What came first, the chicken or the egg?

This is what the disgruntled faceless men online will never admit: that in berating women for emotionally adapting to an environment that actually offsets the rising costs of living that men complain about being pressured to pay for by themselves, they can secretly dodge the shame they feel in existing in a society where women truly do not need men.
