The Strong Yet Unfortunate Correlation Between Housewives & Financial Abuse
“Say no to financial and emotional abuse by only saying yes to generous, loving, family-oriented men!”
I am noticing how many women are now aspiring to become housewives after years of grueling labor in Corporate America. Now this isn’t necessarily a bad thing; I have discussed how important it is for a woman to ensure that the man she marries and procreates with can actually afford to be a husband and a father. And a large part of being able to afford a wife and children is for a man’s wallet to be able to accommodate his woman staying home to raise these kids instead of being so cash-strapped that she is forced to return to work while her body is healing up and her newborn still requires his or her needs to be met from his primary caregiver.
Throughout the years many men have felt it was an honor to provide for their families and they have successfully been able to keep their wives at home. But on the other side of this lies the dark reality of financial abuse that many women are not considering. Mainly because it directly opposes the happy-go-lucky fantasy of being able to trust a man completely and not worry about him taking advantage of being in such a vulnerable position where a woman is not able to properly fend for herself and her children financially.
