“The Truth Is…I Never Loved My Wife”

“This man had the courage to say what many men would never admit.”

I came across a post on Facebook which gained lots of buzz and attention from many people. A man admitted he never loved his wife and many commentators had mixed feelings about his confession. But I was especially fascinated at the men who called out his supposedly loving words that pointed out his faults and his attempts to make things right with his wife.

“This definitely goes on the list of ashiest soliloquies I’ve ever read. There’s a part of me that wants to believe that your intentions were pure and the wording is simply tone deaf, but bruh…your wife did not deserve this level of public humiliation in an attempt to make yourself a hero of sorts, I guess…”

“This is the biggest backhanded compliment I’d ever seen. Just say you lost attraction for her instead of forcing yourself to stay. Like clock work, these Tyler Perry chicks ate it right up.”

On the other hand, I wasn’t surprised by anything he said. I have armed women with enough information on the nature of men, and I have already said that these husbands prove me right every day.
