It is difficult for most of us to love and enjoy things, animals and people we cannot control. This is why we feel it is appropriate to abuse them into submission.

So many people were robbed of their childhoods, and through parenting they are unconsciously stealing their child’s innocence and sense of safety away from them because witnessing their children actually be children is too frustrating and gives them too much sensory stimulation.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but children are not toys. They talk loudly. They laugh loudly. They argue with their siblings loudly. They play loudly. They scream at ungodly decibels that make your ears bleed. Kids are just loud as fuck. In fact, there is a whole-ass lake by my backyard that is shared with other neighbors, and I can actually hear the kiddies belonging to my neighbors who literally live across a fucking lake from me screaming and playing; sometimes at 10 AM, and sometimes at 10 PM!

I am childfree because I don’t want any of those loud things in my house shattering my eardrums with their screeching. I don’t process unwanted noise well, and I have adjusted my lifestyle to reduce the amount of noise coming from other people. Some adults are just like me, and yet they pop out multiple kids and justify beating them into silence…
