This is exactly why I don’t go out to parties anymore.

I wish it were safe for me to go out late at night without male supervision. I wish I weren’t afraid of catcallers or men touching me “by mistake”. I wish I could party, letting go of my inhibitions, and trust my surroundings, not being scared of getting drugged, stalked, groped, and god knows what else.

This is exactly why I don’t go out to parties anymore. While I miss meeting new people and dancing the night away I don’t miss the creepy males scheming to touch and grab me without my permission. Ugh!
