To be honest, when I was writing that part I wanted to write a disclaimer afterwards that I do not find fat women as unattractive. But I decided against it as it didn’t flow with the article.
This is why I intentionally wrote “obese, stressed, OR unfeminine.” Because fat and unfeminine do not correlate at all.
This wasn’t meant to be my personal opinion on certain black women, but I was just reiterating what I have heard from black women speaking ill of their own.
Again, the taking “pride in their appearance” and “living a healthy lifestyle” parts are the assumptions other black women make, not me.
