Two Brutally Honest Reasons Why I Will Not Follow You Back

This has been on my mind for quite some time, and I think it’s about time I say something. No, I am not here to provide my vulgar contrarian opinions this time around. We’ll save that for another day.
While I enjoy receiving the daily notifications that tell me I earned new followers, I must admit there is a sinking feeling in my stomach whenever I click on the profiles belonging to them, only to realize I will not follow them back.
Just to provide some context, I completely disregard any profiles with no photo. I understand that the people behind image-less profiles are either readers, spam accounts, or lurkers. I am always curious about the profiles with photos, however.
With that being said, here are two simple yet blunt reasons why I may refuse to follow you back.
You are not writing anything I am interested in reading.
You signed up on this platform with your name. Really let that sink in for a moment.
You did not sign up as Housekeeping Tips, Nutrition Weekly, Data World, or some other vague…
