As women we are not allowed to use time to figure our lives out. To make mistakes, to grow and even to admit that we allowed a good thing to slip away.

Women want to be frozen in time, from their beauty to the opportunities that were available to them in their younger years because a large aspect of successfully conditioning young ladies into mass-manufactured womanhood is striking the fear in their hearts of growing older by their lonesome and living with regret. Apparently securing any man to be your life partner is better than carefully weighing your options, or even holding off on making a snap decision in the heat of the moment, or in the darkness of loneliness if you will.

The reason why people think it is appropriate to make fun of Vivica for admitting the L she took in her love life is because most people are deathly afraid of taking Ls in the first place! Why? Because they fear being the butt of the same judgment and ridicule they see no issue in dishing out to people that aren’t afraid to take risks, which come with lots of mistakes, heartbreak, lessons and of course humiliation.

Our society is filled with critics, or random people who are afraid of living passionately. As a result, they fantasize about being loved intensely while they settle for someone who…
