Want To Be A More Compassionate Person? Quit Saying These Three Words!

While it is refreshing that so many individuals from all walks of life are addressing their deep-seated pains that have been buried within the dark crevices in their souls for years, I cannot help but notice an overwhelming sense of seclusion when it comes to the healing journey many are embarking on.

Sure, we are coming together to talk about the fact that we are healing, plus we are encouraging others to follow suit. But the majority of us are finding more contentment and emotional breakthroughs by ourselves than we are when we are vulnerable with the same people who claim they are always here for us. And as a woman who literally worships the sacredness of solitude I think I have an idea why.

It is because people don’t fucking listen.

It’s as if the creator crafted them with two mouths and one ear! Simply put, it is impossible to be a compassionate person when you are only paying attention to the details of someone’s story that you can use to glorify yourself and make them feel even worse than they already feel.

Allow me to explain.
