The purpose of having a purpose is to use your money to increase and expand your purpose!

One of my favorite quotes of all time comes from the mouth of none other than the late producer and entrepreneur (and occultist, I should add!) Walt Disney. He said, “We don’t make movies to make money. We make money to make more movies.”

Chasing a purpose includes the initiation of becoming, which is a long, arduous process that can strip away your ego, entitlement, and desperation through stripping away any money and opportunities you think you are owed. This is completely different than chasing survival, or doing whatever needs to be done to put a roof over your head and food on the table.

Like Walt Disney mentioned, the purpose of having a purpose isn’t to earn money. Money is a tool, but it isn’t a damn purpose! The purpose of having a purpose is to use your money to increase and expand your purpose! Surely Walt Disney knew what he was talking about; he was wildly successful but he didn’t give a shit about the money he earned, at least in the context that the average person thinks wealthy folks care about it. The money was primarily used as a tool to make more movies. He understood that simply having money wasn’t enough.
