When Being A Chill, Down-To-Earth Girlfriend Backfires!

Women consistently lower their boundaries and standards to accommodate the men in their lives, but they have the audacity to get upset when this same man insists that she sticks to the same bottom-barrel standards she used to attract him in the first place. And I cannot blame anyone for feeling confused when their equally confused partner suddenly switches up her requirements at a last moment’s notice when she could’ve been honest from the jump!
So I had to laugh at a post a woman made when she recalled a sweet, thoughtful gesture her boyfriend did to express his love for her that involved a total spend of $0.00. Because she told him she wasn’t materialistic when they first met, of course it made sense that he would put more thought than money into his “love don’t cost a thing” expression of romance.
It turns out she was lying. While she appreciated his gift, what she really wanted was a designer handbag. Her facial expressions took the cake, because it was obvious that she expected her man to read her mind and lavish her with pricey gifts, even though she verbally told him she didn’t care for those things.
