White Feminism Versus The Disobedient Black Woman
Understand that people, including women you think want to see you succeed, will not think twice about giving you wrong information!
A black man posted a tweet appreciating the beauty of black women. A white woman immediately pulled an “All Lives Matter” stunt on him and demanded he revise his tweet to state that all women are beautiful, implying that he should include the women in her race. He responded, “I said what I said.”
There was no backlash from her and others like her when white women didn’t have to share the spotlight with other races of women in movies, shows, magazines, jobs, and more. But the minute someone defies the wishes of these ladies by isolating the beauty belonging to one race of women for a damn tweet there is an uproar. When black women like myself have the receipts to show that some of us are actually thriving and even worshipped by men this bothers them deeply because it disrupts the mental spell they’ve placed on us for so long.
