Why Do You Expect Kindness From People Who Are Cruel To Themselves?
Most of us suffer from debilitating self-talk that haunts our souls around the clock. While some of us intentionally do our best to quell the terrible relationships with ourselves through therapy, journaling, and rewiring our cells through other methods of self-care, others allow themselves to be poisoned from the inside out. And their venom wrecks havoc on anyone who is in close proximity to them, in person and online.
You will never be good enough for those who don’t measure up to their own barometer of perfection, which is the majority of the world’s population. Perhaps you have been on the receiving end of the following statements and implications?
“You lost weight? Lose some more.”
“Your skin looks bad.”
“You need to have another baby. That child needs a sibling!”
“You’re not eating enough!”
“You eat too much.”

“Your hair isn’t long enough.”
