Why Men Lie To Women & Keep Secrets From Them

I was watching a TV show and a typical scenario that occurs in many real-life relationships came across my screen. I should add that this situation makes me roll my eyes each and every time.
In the scene a man’s girlfriend was fed up with him not being forthcoming about his life as a detective. She wanted more insight and access into his professional life to feel closer to him, all while he deliberately chose not to disclose details about the danger he is exposed to on a daily basis to protect her. In fact, he would get extremely upset when a criminal would interfere in his personal life, or the safe haven that includes his girlfriend, in order to get back at him.
After giving her boyfriend an ultimatum he decided to give his woman a glimpse into the otherworldly shit he is exposed to, and in typical fashion she couldn’t handle it. She begged him to quit scaring her. She began crying and told him that he needed to seek professional help. She began to wonder if the truth she finally got out of him was a lie.
