Wifey Material Or…Idiot?
I am failing to see how any woman can claim to be so simple and humble and fulfill even a modicum of the demands men have for them!
A lot of these simple women that make it to wifehood eventually file for divorce, an act that has left many men scratching their unkempt beards in confusion. They are confused because they thought they were perfect husbands, but they had no idea that the wives they married solely to function as chefs, maids, and other roles outgrew their conditioned desires for less and began to want more; the same “more” they shamed other women for wanting from the jump.
The reason why I raise my eyebrows at these ladies who claim they are good women and are ready to walk down the aisle is because their good woman/wifey material status is giving lowly servant vibes. I mean, the same men who love giving lip service to these same good women expect them to make serious investments in a relationship to prove that they are worthy of being wives. You know, to match any man’s “significant” investment of applauding them for doing a fantastic job.
It’s like, some men want to marry women who don’t need or ask for much, but these same men expect women to maximize their labor in a relationship for the sake of proving that they are wifey material?! Huh?
