I recently came across a Reddit post in the AmITheAsshole thread where a new mother asked if she was the asshole for contemplating if she should leave her husband over a financial conundrum in which he showed his whole ass, so to speak, and told her how he really felt about her and her sacrifice of childbirth through refusing to pay half of a hospital bill.

My husband (35M) and I (32F) welcomed our first baby three months ago. We’ve been married seven years now and decided it was time to expand our family. Everything was going well and we were in our little newborn bubble of bliss until the hospital bills came.
