It seemed as though the dad bod experienced a renaissance after actor Will Smith revealed a photo of what he claimed was the worst shape of his life during the pandemic. Since then, men have been proudly showing off their soft rolls, man boobs, pudgy stomachs, and back fat in their underwear. In response, it appears as though the ladies are loving it. But I see right through the ruse.
Even as a misandrist, I find it quite sad that so many men believe women are attracted to their dad bods. Then again, the ladies who fall for the stocky fellow will find themselves regretting adapting the completely made-up belief that men with dad bods make for better romantic partners and even fathers, as the name suggests. So I guess the deception falls on both parties.
