Wow. This is EXACTLY why I left Christianity years ago and never looked back!

The whole religion business stopped making sense to me when I was around 13. I was repulsed by the Church’s misogynistic obsession with purity and modesty, glorification of suffering, and most importantly, all the hatred spewed by its religious leaders.
