“You Don’t Want Kids? So Who’s Going To Take Care Of You When You’re Older?”
It is absolutely crazy how so many adults look forward to being burdens to others just because they had unprotected sex!
Whenever I fantasized about my fabulous older years I never pictured myself living out the rest of my days confined to a bed and having a dedicated staff wait on me. Of course life can transpire in such a fashion where I can get extremely sick and have no choice but to be bedridden, but I don’t put any of my energy towards actualizing such a reality. Call it wishful thinking, but I see myself living the same lifestyle I live currently. I will wake up and write, take leisure walks, dance, eat delicious meat, cheese, and chocolate, lift weights, and fall asleep to cartoons.
Okay, maybe I will have to switch out my 45-pound plates for adorable pink dumbbells at some point in my life, but you get the point!
Maybe it’s just me, but I do not see why my life has to change in any significant way just because I can qualify for AARP. In fact, social media opens up a goldmine of possibilities…
