You Refuse To Leave Religion Alone…But You Want To “Smash The Patriarchy?”

So a man controlling your pussy through marriage is okay, because “love” is involved. But men controlling your pussy through taking away your reproductive rights isn’t. Am I understanding this correctly?

Honestly, I am very confused by religious women who speak ill of our patriarchal system. It all seems highly ironic to me.

Pretty much all religions that we know today were created by men to center men. I have yet to come across any mainstream belief system that solely worships a female deity, or even views women as equal to men. And the ladies who invest so much of their time and money into these spiritual systems won’t dare to challenge the practices and beliefs that were created to keep them inferior to men. But the patriarchy is oh-so-evil in their eyes.

While our patriarchal system is indeed a global influence that affects the way men and women live and interact with each other, as an American woman I think it is quite obvious how religion, more specifically Christianity, and patriarchy intertwine perfectly and work together to enslave women in these United States.

Reproductive rights are being taken away, and for some reason Christian feminist women cannot connect this type of control with the same religion they are hooked on. Or perhaps…
