“Your Husband Is The Only Family You Get To Choose, So Choose Wisely”
Contrary to popular belief, single women are not doomed to live lives of loneliness and emptiness if a man isn’t physically present in their lives.
It is truly sad how so many ladies are dickmatized due to false information given by well-meaning people on how important men are to women. As an example, false information looks like the following statement, which also happens to be the title of this article:
“Your husband is the only family you get to choose, so choose wisely.”
Ladies, this is not true! Again, this is not true at all! You exist in many relationships, or families, outside of any family you create with your husband, if you even care to have a husband at all. And guess what? You must exercise discretion and savvy thinking when it comes to the families you create with human and nonhuman entities outside of one single man!
Isolating a damn man as your only option for a family outside of the one you were born into is a set-up for obsessive behavior where you view men as the maker or breaker of the family unit and a well-lived life, which is a narrative many women are unfortunately caught up in.
